About Finland...

Finland is a country full of surprises. Probably, you all know about Angry Birds, Nokia mobile phones, the moomins and Santa Claus in Rovaniemi. But besides the above mentioned Finland has things and people to be proud of. In my blog I want to show you my Finland, how I see it. And Helsinki in particular. I think that in this country live the most talented and interesting  people in the world... And there are many of them in Finland.

D.I.Y Cloud with rain drops

Here we need:
• A piece of fabric
• polyester padding
• stuffing
• multicolor cardboard
• double-sided tape

First draw the stencil "cloud" with the desired size and shape.
Cut two pieces of fabric and two pieces of padding polyester using the stencil (don't forget to add 1.5 cm)
Make "sandwich": polyester padding - fabric, fabric -  padding polyester, pin and sew it. Leave a small hole, turn inside out and stuff the cloud.
Rain drops. Cut 2 drops out of each cardboard. At the end you have 18 drops. Measure 3 pieces of yarn 15 cm each. Using double-sided tape stick together the yarn and  drops. Then sew 3 pieces of yarn to the cloud. We are done!)

Number magnets

My youngest M loves to count very much, despite his small age ( he just turned 2).
So here arose the idea of number magnets. M was thrilled to play with them)

Here we need:
• pieces of fabrics
• Magnetic buttons
• padding polyester
• number stencils

Take pieces of fabric ( or one big piece, folded in half) a little bit bigger than the number stencil and one piece of padding polyester the same size.
Assemble: one piece of fabric, padding polyester and one piece of fabric again. Sandwich!
On the top of the fabric pin the number stencil.

Sew the number and don't forget to leave a hole for  a magnetic button.
Delet the stencil  and cut away extraneous fabric.

Also you can do the alphabet. You just need a little more patience))
